SchedulePress Pro: WordPress Calendar and Scheduling

SchedulePress Pro brings WordPress content planning, scheduling, and social sharing into one workflow. Its editorial calendar shows scheduled and draft posts, and lets you create content or move scheduled posts to another date with drag-and-drop controls.

Plan publishing dates in the calendar

The calendar gives authors and editors a shared view of upcoming work, including on multi-author blogs. A WordPress dashboard widget also shows scheduled and draft posts in the administration area. SchedulePress supports multiple authors from one place and can email authors about blog status.

Choose a scheduling method

  • Auto Scheduler: Set rules to schedule content at specified intervals, or choose an exact date and time.
  • Manual Scheduler: Select the precise date and time for a post.
  • Missed Schedule Handler: Automatically publish a post if WordPress misses its scheduled publication time.
  • Advanced Schedule: Schedule an update to an already published post or page without drafting or unpublishing it.
  • Date-based sharing: Automatically share selected content on selected dates.

Advanced scheduling also supports blog and documentation updates that include tags, categories, pictures, featured images, and excerpts. The available controls cover recurring intervals, a specific publishing time, missed publication times, and updates to content that is already live.

Publish and share posts

When enabled, SchedulePress Pro can publish a post immediately while displaying a future date. It can also share posts automatically when they are published. Listed platforms include Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Medium, Threads, and Google Business Profile.

Choose social profiles and customize sharing for each platform or use a global template in the editor. You can also share directly without notifications or reminders.

Use supported WordPress editors

Scheduling is available through Classic Editor, Gutenberg, and Elementor. In Elementor, you can schedule content, unpublish posts, or republish published posts from the editor panel. A modular control panel lets you enable or disable scheduling from Elementor.

Set up your workflow

Add SchedulePress Pro to your WordPress site, then open its scheduling and social-sharing controls. Choose a publishing method and configure the calendar, author alerts, scheduling rules, or platform-specific sharing options you need. Before publishing, review the relevant Pro settings for missed schedules, recurring dates, advanced updates, or multiple social profiles.
