See Clicky activity inside WordPress
Clicky Pro connects a WordPress site to Clicky analytics. The plugin adds Clicky tracking code across the site and brings selected statistics into the WordPress administration area. The dashboard shows an overview, while a toolbar indicator displays visitors from the last 48 hours.
Choose what the integration tracks
Configure how the plugin handles site activity:
- Ignore administrators when collecting activity.
- Disable the use of cookies.
- Choose whether commenter names are stored.
- Record comments as actions through Clicky’s internal data logging API. This option requires a Clicky Pro account.
Track goals and revenue for content
Posts and pages can be tracked as goals. You can assign a revenue value to a selected post or page to connect that content with a defined outcome.
Identify selected outbound links
Add outbound-link patterns to identify affiliate links and other external link formats in Clicky analytics. This lets you distinguish tracked links from general external navigation.
Set up the integration and review activity
- Install and activate Clicky by Yoast in WordPress.
- Configure the Clicky integration settings.
- Choose how administrators, cookies, commenter names, and comments are handled.
- Add goals for relevant posts or pages, assign revenue where appropriate, and define outbound-link patterns.
- Confirm the tracking and goal settings, then review activity in the WordPress dashboard or toolbar. Use Clicky for the broader analytics view.
