Click to Chat PRO for WhatsApp on WordPress

WhatsApp contact options across your site

Click to Chat PRO extends Click to Chat for WordPress with ways to tailor how visitors start a WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business conversation. On mobile, a chat can open in the WhatsApp app. On desktop, visitors can be directed to the desktop app or WhatsApp Web.

Choose from eight customizable styles, use your own image or animated GIF, or turn a button, menu item, image or link into a chat trigger. Custom elements can use the class ctc_chat or the link target #ctc_chat. Set different styles and screen positions for mobile and desktop, and add a number, call to action and pre-filled message.

Shortcodes place a chat icon or button in post content or widget areas. Attributes can set the number, style, message and call to action. Pre-filled messages can use site, page and URL values, with additional product details available on WooCommerce product pages.

Greetings, forms and agent availability

Greetings dialogs can use customized fonts, colors, images and content. Content-specific greetings can address different visitor needs. Click to Chat PRO can show greetings after a time delay or when a visitor scrolls to a specified point; click and viewport actions are also available.

Forms can collect information before a visitor starts a chat. A submission can trigger an email notification, send form data to a webhook, and prefill the WhatsApp conversation with the visitor's details. Webhooks can connect form data to external applications, including spreadsheets, CRMs and automation tools.

Multi-Agent displays several WhatsApp accounts in one greetings dialog. Set one or more availability periods for each agent. When an agent is offline, you can hide them, show their next available time, or disable chat. Business hours can hide the widget outside set hours or change its number and call to action. A predefined list of numbers can also be used to route visitors to a random number.

Set display rules and track clicks

Choose where the widget appears based on post type, post ID, category, device, WooCommerce product pages, visitor login status or country. Business hours, time delay and scroll delay can also affect visibility. Page-level settings can override the number, style, greetings template and greetings content. WooCommerce settings can be tailored for product, shop, checkout and account pages.

Chat clicks can create events for Google Analytics, Meta Pixel and Google Ads Conversations. Webhooks can pass details such as the current page URL, interaction time and associated WhatsApp number. They can also include URL parameter values, such as [utm_source], and cookie values, such as [[cookie_name]].

Language settings and setup

With WPML or Polylang, configure a different WhatsApp number, call to action, pre-filled message, greetings content, group ID and share text for each language. To get started, install and activate the plugin in WordPress, enter a WhatsApp number, choose display settings, then add the widget, shortcode or custom chat element where visitors should find it.
