Widget Options Pro for WordPress Widgets and Gutenberg Blocks

Widget Options Pro and Widget Options Extended are paid editions for controlling the visibility, appearance, and behavior of WordPress sidebar widgets and Gutenberg blocks. Use their settings to decide where content appears across pages, posts, custom post types, archives, taxonomies, and other site areas.

Set visibility for pages, people, and devices

Visibility rules can target user roles, login state, mobile, desktop or tablet devices, URLs, wildcard restrictions, author content, archive pages, taxonomies, and terms. You can filter multiple pages by keyword-containing slugs or inherit visibility from a parent page. Advanced Custom Fields conditions include equal to, not equal to, contains, does not contain, is empty, and is not empty.

Scheduling controls support specific days and date ranges, with an option to ignore the year. These rules can be used for content intended to appear during selected dates or on particular parts of a site.

Adjust widget appearance and management

Paid controls include custom widget styling, columns, links, and sticky or fixed widgets. You can clone widgets, use widget cache options, disable widgets, and set permissions for who can edit widget settings. Custom IDs and classes are available for styling or JavaScript work. Alignment options include left, right, center, and justified, and widget titles can be hidden on the front end while remaining visible in the dashboard.

The paid editions also support displaying sidebars and widgets with shortcodes. It includes integrations for Gutenberg, SiteOrigin, Elementor, and Beaver Builder; Advanced Custom Fields conditions are also available for Elementor and Beaver Builder.

Sliding Widget Options add-on

The separate Sliding Widget Options add-on can turn a widget into a modal pop-up, slide-in or toaster, chat box, or another animated sliding panel.

Configure the controls

After activation, use the welcome message and its video instructions to get started. Go to Settings > Widget Options to enable or disable the features you need. Then open Appearance > Widgets and configure the relevant widgets. Apply visibility, styling, device, role, schedule, or targeting rules in the available widget and block settings.
